Monthly WordPress Maintenance Package

WordPress maintenance is the ongoing process of keeping your WordPress website updated and maintained. This includes WordPress core updates, plugin updates, theme updates, regular backups and checks after maintenance.

WordPress websites rely on a combination of core software, plugins and themes. Keeping these components updated helps reduce security risks and compatibility problems caused by outdated software. Regular backups also provide recovery points if a technical problem occurs.

The package includes weekly WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, weekly website backups, post-update checks, a restore from a recent backup if an update causes a significant issue, and a monthly maintenance report.

If an update performed as part of the maintenance service causes a significant issue, we can restore the website to its previous working state at no additional charge. Fixing the underlying conflict or technical problem is not included and may require additional work.

No. Restoring the website after an update is included, but investigating and fixing the underlying plugin, theme or custom-code conflict is additional work. Troubleshooting or development work required to resolve the issue will be billed separately at our standard hourly rate.

No. The R1500/month package is designed for routine WordPress maintenance, updates and backups. Complex troubleshooting, plugin conflicts, theme conflicts, custom-code problems, malware removal, redesigns and other repairs are not included and are billed separately.

Yes. We can maintain existing WordPress websites, even if they were originally developed by another company or freelancer. We may first review the website to ensure it is suitable for ongoing maintenance.

WordPress will display a maintenance message while updates are being applied. We perform updates carefully and check the website afterwards.

Your website is backed up once a week as part of the maintenance service.

Yes. Your website is reviewed during a scheduled weekly maintenance window. Available WordPress core, plugin and theme updates are reviewed and applied where appropriate. Updates may be delayed if an update appears incompatible, unstable or unsuitable for the website.

Website content updates are not included in the monthly WordPress maintenance package but can be requested separately through ad-hoc support.
